This outcomes-focused session will highlight FirstHealth of the Carolinas’ clinical results following implementation of the Peripheral Advantage® Program. Using data from electronic health records, real-time observation, and clinician surveys, FirstHealth demonstrated a greater than 100% increase in PIVC dwell time and a significant rise in first attempt success—from 70% to 83.7%—while simultaneously enhancing clinician knowledge and patient satisfaction. Presenters will detail the methodology for data collection and analysis, the impact of targeted education, and the role of high-quality vascular access products in achieving these results. The session will emphasize how translating data into practice supports quality improvement and fosters a culture of accountability and clinical excellence.
