Jocelyn is a Clinical Nurse Specialist and advanced practice nurse at St. Paul’s Hospital in Vancouver, BC, Canada. She has been nursing since 1991 with expertise in IV therapy, vascular access, and oncology. She is Adjunct Professor with the University of BC School of Nursing with a main focus to ensure clinicians are armed with knowledge to provide quality care to patients with vascular access, IV therapy and oncology needs.
Jocelyn served as President for AVA in 2021 and for CVAA from 2012-2014. She also served on the VACC Board of Directors in 2013, is Founding Chair for the Vancouver AVA Network, is currently on the INS Standards of Practice Committee, and is author for the CVAA Occlusion Management Guidelines and CVAA Guidelines. She has publications and has presented at various scientific meetings/conferences, locally and internationally. She is a proud Canadian, mother and cheerleader for her children when playing sports.
