My name is Sara Mignano BSN, RN, CCRN. I have been a nurse for 9 years; I started on a medsurge floor and then transitioned to the ICU. I have worked per diem in our Endoscopy unit, completing pre, intra, and post op care. I work per diem for our VAD team, placing ultrasound guided IVs, midlines and PICCs. I am a per diem Infusion Center nurse after receiving my chemotherapy certification. I received my CCRN in 2021. I have achieved my hospital's clinical ladder since 2020; I run our ICU's professional governance committee as the chair and I am the co-chair of our clinical ladder committee. I have taught at our critical care and medsurge skills days, run mock codes, started a peripheral IV workshop, taught new to RRT/ICU Charge nurses and take on the role as the Charge/RRT nurse in ICU. I also precept new to ICU nurses.
