Keegan J. Mahoney, BSc, RRT, VA-BC™

Keegan Mahoney is a Vascular Access Specialist from Phoenix, Arizona. Keegan works as the Vascular Access Team Supervisor at Banner Gateway MD Anderson Cancer Center. He has been placing vascular access devices (PIV, Arterial, PICC, CVC, ADC) under ultrasound guidance since 2006. He and his team are currently placing ADCs in stem cell patients for collection, allowing them to leave the facility with the device until the collection is successful. Keegan enjoys the opportunity Teleflex Academy has given him to share his knowledge and learn from other vascular access specialists across the US. Most recently he and his co-author were awarded the first place poster award at the 2017 AVA Scientific Conference in Phonenix Arizona.
