Elizabeth Sharpe, DNP, APRN, NNP-BC, VA-BC™, FAANP, FAAN

Dr. Elizabeth Sharpe is a Clinical Professor at The Ohio State University, nurse practitioner and vascular access specialist. She is the coauthor of the National Association of Neonatal Nurses (NANN) Guideline for Practice: Neonatal Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters, 3rd and 4th Editions, and a globally respected expert and author. Dr. Sharpe has served on the National Association of Neonatal Nurses Board of Directors, the Pediatric Special Interest Group Advisory Board, Vascular Access Certification Corporation Board and the Infusion Nursing Society Standards of Practice Committee. Dr. Sharpe was honored to be named the 1st Janet Pettit Scholar by the Association for Vascular Access in 2014, and is a Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, the National Academies of Practice and the American Academy of Nursing.
