I have been an active member of the Vascular Access Team at Sutter Roseville Medical Center since 2008. I have been fortunate to witness and be a part of the awesome evolution of our advanced Vascular Access Team over the years. I am very passionate about vessel preservation, infection control, and patient safety. I would like to play a more active role in my field regarding best practice. SRMC recently became a teaching hospital, and we have so much opportunity for quality improvement, education, and growth. I would like to contribute to presentations at AVA to help others see how we have worked through challenges here at SRMC, as well as, learn from others how to implement and continue to maintain the best evidence-based practice possible.
