After beginning her nursing career in critical care, Erin found her “dream job” in vascular access in 2015. Early in her career, Erin was inspired by the impact that dedicated clinicians could have on advancing high-quality, evidence-based care through continuous quality improvement initiatives. A patient- centered clinician, her work has been instrumental in achieving substantial reductions in CLABSI events and promoting best practices for vascular access. Erin's expertise and passion for quality improvement has earned her invitations to present her work at local and national conferences.
In her current role at BD, Erin leverages her clinical experience and global practice knowledge to supporting clinicians in implementing standard- based vascular access best practices and improving patient outcomes using evidence-based approaches. Erin drives the development of standard-based training and education around vascular access procedures and collaborates cross-functionally to support new product development, driving innovative, clinician- and patient-centered solutions to unmet needs.
