Dr. Amit Bahl has nearly 20 years of experience as a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician with subspecialty expertise in emergency ultrasound. He is the Division Head of Emergency Ultrasound and Program Director of the Emergency Ultrasound Fellowship program at William Beaumont University Hospital Emergency Department in Southeastern Michigan. His academic appointment is Professor of Emergency Medicine at Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. Recently, he has taken on the role of CEO at Operation STICK and VascAI.
Dr. Bahl is well regarded for his expertise, clinical care, and research contributions in the fields of point-of-care ultrasound and vascular access. He is the recipient of numerous foundation and industry grants for research and has authored over 75 peer-reviewed manuscripts in high impact medical journals. Dr. Bahl is a passionate speaker who presents internationally on the complications of vascular access devices and strategies to improve patient outcomes.
