Tanya is a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) with a Vascular Access Board Certification (VA-BC). She has 24 years of experience in various acute care settings. For the past 17 years, while at Dana Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI), Tanya has become dedicated to providing specialized care to the adult oncology patient population who require vascular access. She is highly motivated and committed to improving outcomes through Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) and Quality Improvement (QI) projects. Tanya has been actively involved in multiple research initiatives during her time at DFCI. She is an active member of the DFCI Vascular Access Committee, as well as, a Magnet Champion and the recipient of the 2020 Daisy Award for Nursing Excellence.
