Mary Beth H. Davis, PhD (she/her/hers)

Mary Beth Davis has 19 years of experience specializing in pediatrics and vascular access. She graduated from the University of Iowa College of Nursing in 2024 with her PhD. She has years of leadership experience in various profit and nonprofit organizations. Dr. Davis has contributed to scholarly advancement of pediatric vascular access and nursing by actively leading and participating in research. She has presented on numerous occasions locally and nationally regarding pediatric vascular access care and maintenance, vascular access team development and has published on clinical issues related to vascular access and nurse leadership. She is passionate about quality improvement, evidence-based practice, education, and enjoys working in a multidisciplinary setting in order to improve patient outcomes. She was honored to receive the Janet Pettit Scholar Award for scholarly excellence in the field of neonatal and/or pediatric vascular access.
